It felt like I had a holiday this past weekend. I took off on Friday from the security job and the Pelican. Thurs night LZ and I had dinner with our long time couple friends the Tokyo crew at a somewhat near by izakaiya. Our friends had been raving about it being just like Japan. When I saw the menu I was inclined to agree. Once we got there at Sumiya and started to chow down, I had to agree. It was yummy!
We have been to a couple of this type places here in the states they were just so so.. This place was good and the prices were pretty good as well. The bill for the four of us with drinks was under two hundred and we left full.
So Friday since I had off ( yay!) I slept in. That was nice! LZ arose before me and I had the small bunk to myself . The only thing was I got up early, then went back to bed then slept late. At noon I headed out to work for Afterguard. I had a four hour intro sail to do with a Chinese group. Last Sat I had the same type of sail this type with some folks from India. I like these kind of gigs. Much easier than teaching a full class, this was just a sampling for the students. It did not matter if they got it or not it was more for just fun. So Friday was an easy sail. There were nine in the group I had four on my boat. It was a nice afternoon cruise with both the wind and the weather cooperating nicely.

That looks delicious. My kind of food.
