Happy Father’s day to you dad’s that stop by. hmmm That would be Ed, & T-man, that I know of. Same to you you silent guys. I was about to head off to the Marina to do a chore, when #1 son called. That was a nice surprise, no wonder the “Force” told me to wait a bit.

Anywhoo. I had a small chore to do today. Since the Yacht Zen was starboard side to the dock, I wanted to re-seal the shroud that was still leaking. I had tried to do that one and another before, but was only successful with one. I did not take the shroud all the way off before, just lifted the plate and clean it a bit then but in some 1400. It worked on one, but the other was still leaking. Today I took the shroud cable all the way off. The biggest pain of the job was loosening the turnbuckle. That took some work and penetrating oil. I need to do that to all cleaned and scraped, dug out and wire brushed the area before applying the sealant. I’m feeling confident this time it will work.

Monday I will give it and the new port “glass” the water test. I’m making good headway with my summer list of projects.
