Tada Sailing

So you’re thinking, what in the heck is he talking about now…tada1

Well I could say something flip but it would lose the flare in words not hearing it. Anyway “Tada” is a Japanese word meaning just to do something with no expectations. They have several words for that , but this one fits this case. So in the case of sailing just to go sailing to go sailing. So I hear , TA-DA sailing.

get it? get it? Hmmm no matter…

I had a second interview today with a small printing company. Afterward I went to visit a friend I use to work with. She left my ex-company about 3 yrs ago and started a small coffee/sandwich shop. I designed her logo and stuff. I had yet to see the shop since she first purchased it. Since it was near, 5 min away from where I was, I went by. She was surprised and pleased. She gave me lunch and we chatted for a while. It was nice to visit, good to see old friends

Afterward I went to the marina for a sail. Perfect day for it. Some wind, a bit over caste, not a lot of tanker & tugs traffic. Small not to much chop. Nice. I was able to get a very smooth sail in, Just cruising back n forth in front of the marina entrance. No place special in mind to sail to, just however the wind blew, no drill , no agenda, just sailing. CD player on , Dr John, Graham Central Station, Frank Zappa, a good mix of this and that, just enjoying the day. I was out for about 3 hours or less just feeling the groove.

Heading back in, I decide to try sailing in to the slip again. This time with the motor running just in case. I planned it out better, and took my time more, this time right in, close to perfect.

Yeah baby !
